The article considers the principles, tools, methods and arrangements for managing the stability of an ecological-economic system. The study contains a detailed description of goals and objectives of management, a detailed analysis of the management system of environmental-economic system’s sustainability at three hierarchical levels of Government (Federal, regional and local) and four subsystem organizations of an ecological-economic system (economic, environmental, social and institutional). The authors suggest an operating model of sustainability management of an environmental-economic system, which allows to reach sustainability of an ecological-economic system.
